Virtual Family Math Night

Virtual Family Math Night

We’ve finished! And the result is an amazing virtual event for your families where they can safely engage in an unforgettable and fun math learning experience…together.

How did we do it? We created a virtual classroom that serves as the meeting place for your families. Once your families enter the classroom, they’ll be able to sign in and view the Guest Book to see who’s attending. They’ll then decide which of the 5 stations they want to explore. Maybe it’s the Estimation Station where they get to use their number sense skills to make an estimate for the K-2 or 3-5 jar. Or maybe they’ll want to share a comment at the What Do You Notice? Station and read what others have shared. If they’re in a playful mood, they can head to the hands-on dice Games Galore Station to play a parent vs student game where the entire school’s winning score will be on display. Or perhaps they want to move around their house a bit and find 5-in-a-row on their Scavenger Hunt game board. To get crafty they will want to head to the Origami Station where they can choose from three projects to make. But everyone will be waiting in anticipation as the Estimation clock counts down to reveal the winners of the estimation jars!

So no matter what your teaching environment looks like this year, now is a great time to start planning your Family Math Night event because we’ve got you covered!
