Last year I posted a What Do You Notice? thinking question at one of our Family Math Night events. It was such a great activity that I decided to do it again. It’s amazing the thinking that comes out of students when open-ended, no-answer-is-wrong questions are posed. Here’s the one I used at last night’s event:
Last night was our annual Family Math Night at Alamo Elementary School in Vacaville, CA. I used activities for our upcoming Gellin’ with Geometry kit. When I entered the room, Suzy, the awesome mom who helps get everything organized for me before I arrive, had set up the sign in table using this year’s theme of geometry.
